Full-Time - In-OfficeThis is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who wants to do more than oversee accounting from a distance. The Controller will take ownership of the monthly close, reconciliations, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis while strengthening systems, controls, and processes to support a growing business. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, this individual will have a meaningful voice in business decisions and will be expected to turn financial data into clear insights, identify risks, and help guide the company toward smarter, sustainable growth.

To thrive/succeed as the Controller you should have: - 5+ years as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar finance leader
- Have personally owned or significantly led month-end close and financial-statement preparation
- Are strong across GL accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, cash management, accruals, fixed assets, budgeting, and forecasting
- Have experience with multiple entities and intercompany accounting
- Can build processes and controls rather than simply follow existing ones
- Are comfortable working directly in the details
- Can explain financial information clearly to non-finance leaders
- Have the judgment and confidence to respectfully challenge leadership, including the Owner
- Are resourceful and comfortable working in a company where not everything has already been built
What You'll Own - Month-end close and company, entity, and location-level financial reporting
- Cash management and a rolling 13-week cash forecast
- Budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis
- Balance-sheet reconciliations and financial integrity
- Membership and recurring-revenue accounting, including deferred revenue and payment recovery
- AP, AR, collections, banking, and treasury
- Spending policies, purchasing controls, payment controls, and fraud prevention
- CapEx, project budgets, debt, and lender reporting
- Financial setup for new locations and acquisitions
- Financial integrity of payroll in partnership with our People team
- Coordination with our outside CPA on tax and technical accounting
- Leadership and development of our bookkeeper
- The finance technology stack, including QuickBooks, Tekmetric, Stripe, and Emburse
