PayMinimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81,900 - $110,600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do? - Manage the accounting function at the unit, including direct leadership, supervision, and effective management of unit accounting and cash room team members
- Complete audits and ensure the team is knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Execute strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, support the annual plan and projection process, provide insightful review of year-over-year changes, and recommend areas of focus to improve operating margins
- Lead or assist with ad hoc analyses of the finances and prepare reports to facilitate decision-making
More about you - Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
- Experience in supervising complex accounting teams, an understanding of finance and accounting processes, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Gaming experience a plus
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Financials, or similar accounting software
- Understanding how to drive effective performance management
- Facilitation, detailed collaboration, and effective communication
- Able to obtain a NYS gaming license
