What You'll Be Doing:

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance

Oversee preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for distribution to Executive Leadership, as well as external parties, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Ensure timely and accurate consolidation and reporting of financial results across multiple business units Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; coordinates full completion of annual external audits

2. Own Accounting Operations

Lead all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and fixed asset accounting functions Oversee revenue recognition processes, including subscription-based and service-based revenue streams. Executes cost matching principles, at a job level, for fully allocated visibility of financial performance. Ensure accurate and consistent execution of business unit-level allocations to drive meaningful visibility and insights into our performance Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

3. Systems and Technology

Oversee accounting systems and ensure data integrity across business platforms and ERP Ensure strong internal controls around financial systems and business processes Partner directly with IT to lead: System upgrades, integrations, and automation opportunities Accounting department Ai exploration and implementation

4. Leadership and Team Development

Manage, lead, and develop a team of accounting professionals

Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the department

Continuous cross-functional collaboration with all teams within the organization

5. Ongoing Support of Strategic Initiatives

Partner with executives and key stakeholders in support of all acquisition and strategic partnership agreements Continuously drive operational efficiency initiatives such as inventory management, cash collection, and accounting process automation.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience; including at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute ERP upgrades or enhancement from concept to go-live, ensuring alignment with business objectives, accounting and compliance requirements, and operational readiness
  • Recognized for executive presence and the ability to communicate with clarity, collaborate across functions, and engage in constructive, strategic discussions with senior leadership to drive informed-decision making
  • Proven leader of high-performing accounting teams; trusted cross-functional leader
