Full Job Description
As Contracts Manager I, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contract administration, from assisting Business Development with strategy tactics prior to receipt of the Request for Proposal, through submission of the proposal and receipt of an offer, through negotiations, contract award, and contract administration through to contract closeout negotiation to termination. This role involves ensuring that contracts are properly executed and fulfilled in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Working side-by-side with your Program Management counterpart, you will provide guidance on contract actions and will be responsible for all contract-related activities, ensuring they are accurately documented and managed.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all contracting activities are executed in alignment with SNC policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for all solicitation and contractual matters, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop coordinated, timely, and compliant responses.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Program Managers, Program Directors, etc.) to support full contract administration, monitoring performance, cost allocation, and contractual compliance to proactively identify required funding or scope adjustments.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable for assigned contracts, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection.
  • Draft, review, route, and execute agreements and executive summaries to safeguard SNC's contractual and business interests.
  • Review and coordinate all customer and internal data requests, protecting both Company and customer confidentiality and proprietary information.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure strong risk mitigation and favorable protections for SNC.
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract documentation-including deliverables, data, funding actions, and amendments-within SharePoint for audit readiness and enterprise transparency.
  • Partner with Contracts Administrators and Corporate Counsel to review NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other strategic documents across the SNC enterprise.
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of Federal and Commercial contracting regulations and policies.
  • Support the Export Compliance Officer by identifying potential ITAR/EAR considerations in contracts and ensuring export-controlled data is not transmitted without proper authorization and licensing.
  • Provide informal leadership and guidance to Contracts Administrators, fostering collaboration, informed decision-making, and professional development.
  • Deliver weekly updates-including proposal status, at-risk work, and ATP activity-to corporate stakeholders, internal customers, and management as required.
  • Provide cradle-to-grave contract support for AIS Contracts, ensuring seamless execution throughout the full contract lifecycle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall program and business objectives.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 0-5+ years of experience to include negotiating and awarding contracts.
  • Education can be substitute for the required years of experience.
  • Working level knowledge and understanding of FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
  • Strong ability to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload effectively to meet multiple, simultaneous deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creativity, initiative, and original thinking to develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working with U.S. Government contracting processes, regulations, or requirements.
  • NCMA CCMA certification (or an equivalent professional contracting credential).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Highly prefers candidates with 4+ years of experience in government or aerospace & defense (A&D) contracting.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
