This is a fast paced, cradle-to-grave contracting position which will require the administration of a variety of federal contracts, handling of multiple pre-bid opportunities, proposal activities, negotiations, contract award, and administration of the resultant contract. The Contracts Administrator will work directly with customers and senior leaders for this Business.
This role will be responsible for administeringcontract(s) with moderate to high risk. Successful performance will require a high degree of independent and creative judgment applied to goals and objectives of the corporation.

Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in office

In this role you will:
- Act as the primary point-of-contact with the Customer Contracting Officer or Buyer
- Serve as a focal point for communication with Finance, Legal, and business team members for resolution of contract matters and disputes
- Understand the business being conducted, the financial/analytical issues, and profit and loss implications
- Support proposal activity through preparation of NDA, TA, and the analysis of contract structure
- Perform risk analysis on RFP content and provide guidance to the proposal team
- Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation team for contractual issues
- Work with different contract types, terminate, and close out contracts
- Review and manage contractual obligations of the company to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
- Identify changes to contract requirements and costs and lead recovery through change proposals
- Analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicate results to team members
- Assist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policy and processes
- Manage special projects when assigned
To be successful in this role you will have:- A Bachelor`s degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- US Citizenship
- A minimum of 5 years of professional working experience
- Professional certification through NCMA or a college
- Strong writing and analytic skills essential
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Broad experience covering both services and product contracting
- An understanding of international, state, local and commercial contracting
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong analytic skills
- Must be self-motivated
