Standard Job DescriptionManager, Contracts Management - Level 5What You Will Be DoingThe Manager, Contracts Management - Level 5 serves as a Contracts Manager within the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Aero Line of Business (LOB) Contracts Manager. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of contract management activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
The position requires a proactive leader who can operate in a dynamic environment, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support mission success. This role includes approximately 25% domestic travel in support of program and customer engagement needs, which may increase if the candidate is not located in Marietta, GA. International travel may also be required.
Responsible for supervisory responsibilities and coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
Basic Qualifications• Experience in reviewing terms and conditions
• Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close out
• Negotiation Experience
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 5 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
Desired Skills• Experience with Aero Proposal Tool Suite (APTS)
• Ability to multi-taksk in a fast paced team environment and work well under pressure
• Effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and customers
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract
• Ability to make effective presentations to executive leadership
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
