Description

Seeking a relationship-driven account professional to own and grow a portfolio of contract manufacturing accounts for Summit Nutri-Science*, USANA's business entity for contract manufacturing operations. This sales account contract manufactirng manager role serves as the client's primary point of contact, translating client needs into action across production, quality, supply chain, and finance, while identifying opportunities to expand the scope and value of each partnership.

The role combines client relationship management with internal coordination. It requires building trust with client stakeholders, staying on top of account health, and moving comfortably between the boardroom, the plant floor, and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production timelines, paired with strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. They're comfortable presenting forecasts to leadership, resolving client escalations, and confirming orders on the production floor and they treat every client relationship as an opportunity to grow the business.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned contract manufacturing accounts and maintaining regular communication with client stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts by upselling additional manufacturing capabilities and services, and securing new contracts to expand the scope of business with each client
  • Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure client orders, timelines, and specifications are met
  • Prepare and present account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to clients and internal leadership
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients in coordination with legal and finance stakeholders
  • Resolve client escalations and service issues, coordinating cross-functionally to reach timely resolution
  • Monitor account health metrics-volume, margin, satisfaction-and proactively address risks to retention
  • Onboard new contract manufacturing clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to active account status
  • Represent Summit Nutri-Science at industry trade shows, conferences, and client meetings
  • Support development of sales collateral and proposals for prospective clients
  • Provide input to leadership on market trends and competitive intelligence within the contract manufacturing space
  • Assist with special projects related to account strategy or process improvement as assigned

Qualifications

  • Three plus years of experience in account management, sales, or client relationship roles, preferably within contract manufacturing, consumer goods, or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production timelines
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Ability to move comfortably between office, manufacturing floor, and warehouse environments
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%

Position is hybrid remote requiring a regular in-office schedule.
