Full Job Description
The Contract Manager is responsible for providing end-to-end contract management support throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract review, drafting, negotiation, administration, governance, change management, and risk mitigation.
The role partners closely with Sales, Delivery, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and customer stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance, protect company interests, and support business objectives.
The Contract Manager will manage a portfolio of customer accounts and serve as a trusted advisor on contractual matters, including Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, renewals, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
The role is responsible for identifying and mitigating contractual, financial, operational, and compliance risks while ensuring alignment with company policies and contracting principles.
Key responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering customer and supplier agreements; providing contractual governance and oversight; advising stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies; supporting contract change management; maintaining contract records and key milestones; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful contract execution and delivery.
The role will provide dedicated support for Canadian customer engagements, including French-language contracts and negotiations, helping to ensure timely, high-quality contract support for both English- and French-speaking stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and French, with the ability to negotiate, draft, review, and manage contracts in both languages.
The Contract Manager will contribute to faster deal execution, improved customer responsiveness, stronger contractual governance, and enhanced oversight of contractual obligations across the Canadian business portfolio.
This position is based in Montreal, Quebec, and requires regular in-office presence to support collaboration with local stakeholders and business teams.
The successful candidate is expected to work from the Montreal office a minimum of two to three days per week, with flexibility to attend additional in-person meetings and business activities as required.
Additionally, the role will support continued business growth by improving operational efficiency, strengthening risk management practices, reducing financial and compliance exposure, and minimizing reliance on external legal counsel through proactive contract management and internal expertise.
Through effective partnership with business and delivery teams, the Contract Manager will help maximize contractual value, support revenue-generating initiatives, and deliver measurable value to the organization.
