The DBS Leader is a member of the site's Operations Leadership team and leads the strategic deployment of Lean principles across the organization to drive operational excellence, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is responsible for developing and executing Lean transformation initiatives, coaching leadership and frontline teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals. By leveraging data-driven methodologies and cross-functional collaboration, enabling sustainable improvements throughout all KPI metrics.
This position reports to the Plant Director and is an onsite role in Hauppauge, NY.What you will do: - Planning, Execution and Sustainment of Kaizens, Projects, and Action Plans to generate improvement in plant KPI. Utilizing a dynamic funnel process tied to Policy Deployment and Daily Management opportunities.
- Lead/facilitate root cause analysis (problem solving) using DIVE/DMAIC process and develop team members to build these skillsets.
- Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools and leading associate development in DBS tools and Kaizen.
- Immerse yourself in critical plant areas and actively work to drive improved performance
- Manage strategic projects from conception through sustainment, facilitate execution of action plans
Who you are:- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to assess key business metrics and operational situations from a general manager's point of view.
- Strong ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional leaders, project managers, and practitioners across functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills; independent worker who can operate in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and effectively manage difficult situations.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:- Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience
- Mastery of a variety of DBS or continuous improvement tools

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
