The OpportunityDid you have to put down an actual, physical book to apply for this job? Were you the one editing everyone else's work on the college paper? Good. Keep reading.
Guru is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to tell the Guru story, turn our customers into thought leaders, and grow organic traffic through writing people want to read. You'll own the content calendar that powers our sales and marketing funnel, from the first keyword search to the case study that helps close the deal.
You'll write, edit, and publish across blog posts, landing pages, case studies, webinars, and video. You'll also decide what gets made, when it ships, and how we know it worked.
Why This Role MattersAI is changing how teams find and trust information at work, and Guru sits at the center of that shift. Explaining that clearly is harder than it sounds. The market is crowded and full of noise, and the companies that win are the ones that tell a sharper story.
That's your job. The content you publish is often the first time someone hears about Guru, and the case studies you write are what help a buyer say yes. At a company our size, your work is visible across the business, and you'll see its impact in traffic, pipeline, and the way our customers talk about us.
What Makes You the Perfect FitYou're a storyteller first- You take dense research, technical product details, or a rambling customer interview and turn it into something clear, concise, and worth sharing
- You can write for a CFO, a support leader, and a search engine without sounding like you're writing for any of them
- You're as strong an editor as you are a writer
You run content like a program- You plan ahead, keep a calendar full, and still make room for the timely piece nobody saw coming
- You take a project from idea to published without someone chasing you for updates
- You know which pieces performed, why, and what you'd do differently next time
You make your partners' work better- Product marketing, demand gen, design, and field marketing see you as the person who makes their campaigns land
- You take feedback well, turn edits around quickly, and keep the work moving
- You stay calm and keep quality high when deadlines stack up
What You'll Actually DoOwn the content calendar: Plan and manage a content calendar that supports every stage of Guru's sales and marketing funnel, balancing evergreen pieces with timely ones.
Create across formats: Produce short- and long-form content in written and video formats, including blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and webinars.
Drive organic growth: Perform keyword research and optimize new and existing content for SEO so the right people find Guru when they're searching for answers.
Scale with your partners: Work with product marketing, field marketing, design, and demand generation to expand how much content we produce and how far it travels.
Measure what works: Build and track KPIs that show how your content performs, and use what you learn to shape what comes next.
Showcase progress: Partner cross-functionally on joint initiatives that bring transparency to the work happening across the company.
