Full Job Description
We9re hiring a Consulting Senior Associate, EHS - San Francisco Bay Area based in California, with flexibility to work from any of the following locations: Menlo Park, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Clara, or Sunnyvale. In this role, you9ll collaborate with innovative clients and help shape safer workplaces.

  • Deliver hands-on support to clients, helping them implement effective EHS programs and strategies.
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations to protect personnel and the environment.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with global teams to design innovative solutions for hazards, chemical management, industrial hygiene, and more.
  • Build strong client relationships and become a trusted extension of their EHS team.


What You9ll Bring

Required
  • Bachelor9s degree in in environmental science,
    safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related science OR equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education).
  • 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel across San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, Santa Clara and San Mateo areas.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams.
  • Driver9s License Required: This position requires a valid driver9s license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.


Preferred
  • Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.
  • Knowledge of California-specific EHS regulations and best practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
  • Perform audits, assessments, and safety process improvements in areas such as:
    • Behavior-Based Safety
    • Chemical & Lab Safety
    • Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E
    • Industrial Hygiene
    • Robotics Safety
    • Process Hazard Assessments
    • LOTO
  • Assist in developing and implementing programs for HazComm, IIPP, PSM, and more.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.
  • Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

For the Consulting Senior Associate, EHS - San Francisco Bay Area position, the anticipated annual base pay is $71,811 - $90,422 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
