We are excited to look for an Actuarial Consultant to join our Actuarial practice to provide support on a variety of engagements and help drive the growth and profitability. This role involves participating on a wide variety of client-facing engagements. Our clients include insurance companies based in Canada as well as the US and the Caribbean, and we help them with their business and actuarial challenges so that they can achieve their strategic and operational goals. Within our actuarial practice specializing in life insurance, the successful candidate will contribute to the following activities: - Actuarial modeling - Financial reporting and regulatory transformation - Specialized actuarial support as part of insurance company audits In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of actuarial practice, such as total rewards, pension plans, and property and casualty insurance. What you bring to the role The ideal candidate holds a university degree and is actively pursuing a recognized actuarial designation (e.g., ACIA/FCIA) They must also have: - A minimum of 2 years of actuarial experience Our competitive actuarial student program will enable you to progress through your actuarial exams while applying your knowledge to real-world challenges. This role requires strong written and spoken English proficiency, as it involves interpreting and applying standards, guidelines, laws, and regulations in English, delivering services to English-speaking clients across Canada, and collaborating with English-speaking colleagues outside Quebec. KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $113,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
