What this job involves:As a Construction Project Manager at JLL, you'll take ownership of commercial tenant improvement projects from the earliest concept through final handover, bringing a proactive, inquisitive mindset to every milestone and every relationship. This is not an order-taking role - you'll lead with the question, "How can I best support my brokers and clients?", stepping in front of stakeholders rather than waiting to be told what's needed. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees - and that starts with project managers who bring strategic thinking, speed, and precision to everything they deliver. You'll balance multiple projects in parallel without sacrificing quality, contribute ideas that sharpen our processes and templates, and build the kind of trusted relationships with brokers and clients that keep work coming back. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, and you'll be central to bringing that collaborative spirit to every job site and every client conversation.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Deliver commercial tenant improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality within agreed timelines and budgets
- Proactively identify strategic ways to hit milestones and stay aligned with budget, rather than reporting variances after the fact
- Run multiple projects in parallel with speed and accuracy, without sacrificing precision
- Bring an inquisitive approach to project challenges, asking questions that get ahead of issues before they surface
- Contribute ideas that influence and improve team processes and templates
- Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and winning as a team
- Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues
- Track project finances, ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, provide accurate cost forecasts, and implement quality control measures that meet the highest standards and client expectations
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, with direct experience on commercial tenant improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including brokers
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive, strategic mindset - comfortable influencing process, not just following it
Preferred qualifications:- Professional certification in project management (PMP)
- Experience working in a global and matrixed organization - where we embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career
- Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Solid understanding of the construction project ecosystem and its underlying economics
