Full Job Description
As a Construction Project Manager with SERVPRO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of all reconstruction projects and project management staff. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality and customer service standards. The Project Manager provides leadership, accountability, and process consistency across all reconstruction activities while serving as a key liaison between leadership, project teams, customers, and trade partners. the highest quality of service is provided to all customers, insurance partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight
  • Oversee all active reconstruction projects to ensure compliance with approved scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and accountability for Project Managers and/or Reconstruction Managers
  • Ensure every project is managed with a detailed, approved project schedule and monitored for adherence
  • Monitor project progress, resolve escalated issues, and remove obstacles impacting production


Quality Compliance
  • Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, company standards, local building codes, and safety regulations
  • Conduct periodic site visits and quality audits to verify workmanship and documentation standards
  • Ensure final walk-throughs, completion documentation, and customer satisfaction certificates are consistently completed


Customer Experience & Communication
  • Set customer service expectations across all projects and ensure consistent communication standards are met
  • Review and enforce requirements for daily progress photos and weekly customer updates
  • Address escalated customer concerns and ensure timely, professional resolution


Scheduling & Resource Management
  • Oversee subcontractor scheduling, labor allocation, and material procurement across projects
  • Ensure inspections with local jurisdictions are properly coordinated and passed
  • Evaluate subcontractor and vendor performance and maintain approved trade partner standards


Financial Oversight
  • Monitor job costs, margins, and change orders across all reconstruction projects
  • Ensure Project Managers stay aligned with billing schedules and customer payment timelines
  • Review estimates, invoices, and job cost reports for accuracy and completeness


Process, Documentation & Reporting
  • Ensure all project activities are accurately documented in job books and management systems
  • Identify areas outside of contracted scope and ensure proper change management procedures are followed
  • Track operational KPIs including schedule adherence, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and subcontractor performance
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, profitability, and consistency


Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

(Some overtime may be required)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or reconstruction project management
  • 2+ years in an operations, senior project management, or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and contract administration
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financials, job costs, and project performance


Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with restoration software (Xactimate, PSA/CAM, BuilderTrend, Company Cam, etc.).
  • Prior work in insurance, claims management, construction coordination, or mitigation/reconstruction support.
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier requirements, SLAs, and documentation standards.
  • Understanding of restoration industry workflows is a plus.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
