Full Job Description
ERG is seeking a Construction Manager to support major facility, infrastructure, and renovation projects at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. In this role, you will oversee projects from pre-award planning through construction execution and final turnover. This position is full-time at NSF Indian Head. Indian Head, Maryland, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, D.C.; 25 miles from Alexandria, Virginia; and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, Virginia. Job Description: • Conduct pre-award constructability and contract document reviews to confirm scopes are buildable, clear, and enforceable • Support the pre-bid process by assisting with site visits, addressing technical inquiries, and evaluating contractor proposals • Participate in partnering and project planning sessions to establish expectations, project goals, and collaboration processes • Provide on-site construction management and leadership to ensure safety, quality, contract compliance, and alignment with project scope and schedule • Manage contract requirements and technical issues, coordinating with contracting authorities on any cost or schedule impacts • Oversee schedule performance and documentation, including reviewingbaseline and monthly Network Analysis Schedules and verifyingrequired contractor updates • Lead submittal, request forinformation, quality, testing, and change management processes, maintaining complete project records and issuing formal notices when required • Manage project close-out and turnover, including Red Zone coordination, inspections, punch lists, acceptance documentation, and delivery of final close-out materials Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field • At least 7 years of experience in construction management and leadership, preferably within federal, military, or highly regulated environments • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, and federal construction processes • Experience managing schedules, contract compliance, and field execution • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills • Experience with vertical new construction, building renovation, and civil and site infrastructure construction projects • Experience with construction building codes and permitting processes • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance • Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations $80,000 - $150,000 a year ERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
