Projects will include tenant improvements, renovation, infrastructure, site work, etc at CSULB.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager.
- Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc.
- Organize and maintain project files
- Assist CM with change order management. The PE shall be able to independently review change order requests for merit and fair pricing, and prepare change orders for processing.
- Manage the closeout and turn over process.
- Assist CM to prepare project files for CSU system audit at project completion.
- Site conditions verification and support as needed.
Requirements- 3-6+/- years of project engineer experience, including major capital projects
- Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred
- CSU experience is a plus but not required
- Design-Build or CM at Risk Experience is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
