America At Work is recruiting an experienced
Construction Manager - Owner's Representative to oversee construction activities for a major
cGMP manufacturing facility expansion near Fresno, California.This is a hands-on, site-based leadership opportunity for a construction professional experienced in managing General Contractors, coordinating complex industrial projects, and protecting the owner's interests.
What You'll Do- Represent the owner during onsite construction activities.
- Oversee General Contractor performance, safety, quality, and schedules.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, equipment deliveries, and installation.
- Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, and project risks.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor project milestones and provide progress reports.
Required QualificationsWhat We're Looking For- 8+ years of construction management or capital project experience.
- Experience with industrial, manufacturing, process, or life sciences facilities.
- Strong background overseeing General Contractors and field construction.
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, construction schedules, and contractor coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Fresno, CA throughout the assignment.
- Valid driver's license and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
Preferred QualificationscGMP experience, previous Owner's Representative responsibilities, and commissioning/startup exposure.
$150,000 - $180,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $150,000-$180,000 annually
- Per Diem: $215/day
- Benefits: Medical, 401(k) match, HSA contributions, PTO, and paid holidays
- Schedule: Typically 40-50 hours/week, with additional paid hours as required
- Project Duration: Through approximately August 2027
