Full Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Join an award-winning team as a Construction Administrator, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between clients and contractors, keeping projects on track and in line with quality standards. As the on-site representative of our esteemed A/E firm, you'll advocate for the owner's interests while overseeing contractors' adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks. Expect to engage with contractors and owners' representatives daily, facilitating smooth communication and resolution of any arising issues.

Your Impact:
  • Act as the crucial link between clients and contractors, ensuring project timelines are met and tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough on-site observations and prepare comprehensive reports for distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with our architecture/engineering team to guarantee project completion aligns with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend and document project meetings, ensuring all pertinent discussions and decisions are accurately recorded and disseminated.
  • Review contractor's project drawings, warranties, and post-construction submissions meticulously.
  • Oversee and coordinate all architectural and sub-consultant activities related to construction contract administration, including managing process sketches, permit revisions, field observations, change orders, and pay requests.
  • Evaluate project submittals and effectively address and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Contribute to the refinement and enhancement of our contract administration processes, emphasizing efficiency, quality assurance, compliance, and seamless project closure.

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, dedicated to meeting client needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction documentation.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, adeptly managing multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting priorities as needed to meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective interaction with senior management, external clients, and vendors.
