Job description
Position Summary:
Northwest Aerospace Technologies, a Safran company, is looking for a Conformity Inspector who is responsible for conducting Conformity inspections on prototype parts, installations, assembles, test articles and test set ups.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Conformity Inspector will be responsible for the conformity inspections and inspections of parts, kits, and test articles to NAT procedures and FAA/EASA regulations. Conformity Inspector will be a representative to other companies and organizations must be diplomatic and supportive to the integrity of processes and legal regulatory requirements. Conformity Inspectors will issues FAA 8130-3 or EASA Form 1s when all design requirements have been met.

Candidate skills & requirements
Knowledge/Experience:
The Conformity Inspector should have a four year technical degree and at least five years relevant industry experience. In lieu of a four year technical degree a combination of other relevant formal technical training and at least 10 years relevant industry experience is required.
Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to communicate at all levels. Must be able to understand written
procedures
• Computer Skills (MS office products)
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Able to read and understand complex engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge and understanding of process specifications
Working Conditions:
• Primarily warehouse and manufacturing environment
• Consistent use of computer key board and monitor
• Travel may be required to include international travel
• Must have an understanding AS9100 Quality Management Systems
• Strong understanding of and experience with QA practices
• Working knowledge of FAA/EASA Regulations, 5 years quality engineering
experience or 10 years of aerospace industry experience
• FAA/EASA conformity experience
• Strong inspection experience
