Job DescriptionThe Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. What You'll Do:- Provide configuration and data management (C&DM) support for multiple programs that you may be assigned.
- Responsible for the creation, review, maintenance, and compliance of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for the program(s) to which you are assigned.
- Facilitate the Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and other engineering boards as required.
- Establish, control, and maintain required configuration information with accuracy in PLM tool.
- Ensure configuration and data management processes are executed effectively within the team, while maintaining adherence to established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide delivery forecasts for SDRLs/CDRLs to program team members and track the status of all deliverables to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer comments as needed.
- Interact with Customers and Suppliers as needed to reconcile all data delivery records.
- Ensure the delivery of data items is in accordance with contract and Data Item Description (DID) requirements.
- Prepare letters of transmittal as required.
- Provide necessary data items that may be requested by program personnel to support technical meetings or milestone events.
- Serve as a resource for C&DM-related support and training by addressing inquiries promptly and providing clear guidance to subordinates, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and subcontractors, ensuring process integrity and successful execution across all phases of the programs.
- Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of CM principles and other engineering disciplines.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience utilizing PLM tools and the ability to understand technical and engineering data and provide technical feedback to engineering when needed.
- Ability to independently identify solutions to complex problems by regularly applying ingenuity and innovation, while ensuring that these solutions align with department objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and comfortable learning new tool technologies when needed.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
Preferred Skills and Education- A current, active Secret security clearance is desired but not needed to start employment
- Configuration Management certifications (e.g., CMII, NDIA, CMPIC).
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience with PLM tools (e.g., ARAS Innovator, Windchill, Oracle Agile).
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., EIA-649).
