Standard Job Description

Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Our team is responsible for maintaining product and system baselines, governing engineering change processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across engineering, quality, and supply chain functions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontractor Engineering Change Analyst you will be responsible for evaluating subcontractor proposed design changes, creating and tracking change requests in our product data management tools, and driving the configuration change board process. You'll serve as the central liaison that translates technical impacts into actionable plans for engineering, supplier quality, and global supply chain partners.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyze subcontractor engineering change proposals to assess impacts on product and system baselines.
• Generate, submit, and maintain change requests within the product data management system (e.g., Teamcenter, ENOVIA).
• Set up and manage end to end change request workflows, ensuring all required reviews and approvals are captured.
• Coordinate with engineering, supplier quality, global supply chain, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues or gaps.
• Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting minutes, and action items for the subcontractor configuration change board.
• Track and report change status, risks, and schedule impacts to senior leadership.
• Continuously improve change management processes and documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications

- Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation and the ability to gain Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
- 4 Year college degree or equivalent experience. Must have experience with Life Cycle Product Data Management tools, specifically Windchill.
- Must have Configuration Change Board (CCB) understanding including implementation activities.
- Experience in reading engineering drawings and documentation.
- Must have experience working closely with internal and external customer teams including subcontractors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Access)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
