Primary Responsibilities
- Drive System Integrity – Analyze and evaluate system changes, new technologies, and engineering requests to ensure compliance with established configuration management protocols and technical standards.
- Author Enterprise Standards – Develop, maintain, and publish critical documentation, including system standards, configuration management plans, technical roadmaps, and analysis reports for governance bodies.
- Champion Strategic Technical Decisions – Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to the government on developing and improving processes, acceptance criteria, and technical standards for the enterprise.
- Orchestrate Stakeholder Collaboration – Support enterprise-level governance forums by facilitating process workflows, coordinating with stakeholders, and presenting analysis, findings, and recommendations.
- Accelerate Digital Transformation – Contribute to the execution of the digital engineering strategy by integrating information sources, defining data requirements, and supporting the automation of audit and verification processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI clearance (mandatory).
- Education: BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or educational equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years in the following:
- Analyzing and developing computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
- Developing plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
- Analyzing user interfaces, maintaining hardware and software performance tuning, analyzing workload and computer usage, maintaining interfaces with outside systems, analyzing downtimes, analyzing proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
- Defining the problem, and developing system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence).
- Communication: Strong written/verbal skills for technical documentation and presentations.
- Work Style: Ability to manage multiple tasks in an agile, dynamic environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with systems engineering and enterprise architecture for high assurance communications systems.
- Background in NC3 architecture/performance analysis and engineering design.
- Knowledge of National Leadership Command Capability or Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communications Systems.
Experience collaborating with NC3 stakeholders including Air Force, Navy, Space Force, NC3 Enterprise Center, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, and OSD.
