Meet the Team
The Compliance Department at Millennium is responsible for adopting, implementing, and enforcing a compliance program that includes policies, procedures, processes, systems, controls, surveillance, testing, and reporting. The Quantitative Trading Compliance team supports the Firm's global program by partnering across the business to address the regulatory considerations of algorithmic and systematic trading activities.
What You'll Do
• Support the administration of the Firm's global Quantitative Trading Compliance program, including the initial vetting and ongoing review of portfolio management teams under the Firm's Algorithmic Trading Policy
• Monitor regulatory developments, industry initiatives, and evolving compliance expectations affecting quantitative trading
• Conduct ongoing analysis to help enhance the Firm's global Quantitative Trading Compliance program
• Assist with regulatory examinations, inquiries, investigations, and other compliance-related projects
• Support the drafting and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
• Prepare and deliver compliance training materials
What You Bring
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained at a regulatory authority, bank, broker-dealer, or buy-side firm
• Experience addressing algorithmic or systematic trading matters, with an understanding of model-based trading and investment and execution algorithms preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a similar field preferred, with a strong academic record
• Understanding of global financial markets and market structure preferred
• General understanding of artificial intelligence, including current regulatory focus areas
• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility, with the ability to manage priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop presentation materials for senior management; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
