About the job
The Global Compensation Team is looking for a Compensation Analyst! As part of our team, you'll have broad exposure to compensation programs and the opportunity to work across a variety of areas, including market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, variable pay, compensation planning, and global compensation programs. This role is well suited for an experienced compensation professional who enjoys analyzing complex information, solving problems, and developing thoughtful recommendations. You'll work both independently and collaboratively with Compensation colleagues and HR Business Partners to address compensation needs across the organization. We're looking for someone who goes beyond executing established processes; someone who is curious about the why behind the work, can connect information across processes, recognizes when something doesn't look right, and uses sound judgment to determine an appropriate path forward.

As a Compensation Analyst you will:
Conduct market pricing and compensation analyses using multiple survey sources to evaluate the competitiveness of jobs and compensation programs.
Participate in compensation surveys, including preparing and validating survey submissions and analyzing published market results.
Evaluate jobs and recommend appropriate job levels, market benchmarks, and salary structures.
Analyze internal and external compensation data and develop well-supported recommendations for HR Business Partners and business leaders.
Consult with HR Business Partners on compensation matters, clearly explaining recommendations, considerations, and potential tradeoffs.
Support and manage compensation processes such as salary reviews, promotion planning, bonus planning, and variable pay administration.
Analyze labor market trends and recommend updates to salary structures and other compensation programs.
Maintain accurate job and salary structure information within our HR systems.
Proactively evaluate existing compensation practices, processes, and programs and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
Manage compensation projects or processes for assigned areas of the organization, including planning activities, communications, analysis, execution, and post-process review.

Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field
Typically 5+ years of professional compensation experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant compensation and HR experience
Strong working knowledge of core compensation principles, including internal equity, external competitiveness, market benchmarking, salary structures, and variable compensation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, identify issues, and independently determine a reasonable approach when the answer is not clearly defined.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, including the ability to independently validate data, calculations, and conclusions.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets.
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) designation preferred.
