Full Job Description
The Role

Legora is building the compensation infrastructure to support a fast-scaling, globally distributed company. We're looking for a Compensation Analyst to be the analytical backbone of our comp function: someone who digs into data, builds models that hold up under scrutiny, and turns messy inputs into clear recommendations. You'll report to the Director, Compensation and work closely with the VP of Rewards, owning benchmarking, equity administration, and comp cycle execution as we scale our programs from the ground up.

This is a hands-on seat for someone early in their compensation career who wants real ownership. You'll help design the processes, not just run them.
What You'll Do
  • Own day-to-day equity administration, including grant tracking, vesting schedules, grant data hygiene, and employee-facing equity questions
  • Conduct market benchmarking and job matching, keeping pay data current as new roles and markets come online
  • Build and maintain compensation models, dashboards, and reporting that turn raw data into clear recommendations for the Director and VP
  • Support the end-to-end comp cycle, including merit, promotions, and off-cycle adjustments, owning data prep, modeling, and quality checks
  • Run pay equity, range penetration, and compression analyses to flag issues before they become problems
  • Maintain compensation guidelines, pay ranges, and job architecture data, ensuring everything stays accurate as the org evolves
  • Partner with People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on offer construction, leveling, and internal equity questions
  • Help build and document scalable comp processes and tools as Legora's headcount and global footprint grow
  • Stay current on pay transparency and equity-related regulatory requirements across the geographies where we operate
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related analytical function (People analytics, FP&A, or similar quantitative background considered)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, pivot tables) and the ability to build models from scratch
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking platforms (Radford, Pave, Ravio) and market pricing methodology
  • Exposure to equity compensation administration is a strong plus
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with good judgment about when a number needs a second look
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, able to explain compensation concepts to non-comp audiences with confidence
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of discretion working with sensitive pay data
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, still-forming environment where the processes themselves are still being built
  • Experience supporting a global or multi-country workforce is a plus
