This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.
Job Description:
A Family Physician who looks to provide the highest quality of care to the patients they see. A Family Physician who can work independently on their own or as a part of our Group practice to provide the best health care possible for his paneled patients. They are responsible for providing treatments also provide counselling on the prevention and management of illnesses for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
A Family physician who is licensed by CPSA to practice Medicine in the Province of Alberta and Hold a valid CMPA membership.
Community Information:
The Community of Grande Prairie has been in severe Shortage for Family Physicians for the past 15 years I worked there , I witnessed Family Doctors retire , move away with very little replacement , our clinic is the Main and the busiest Walk in clinic in Grande Prairie , we have tried our Best to recruit for the past few years but we were unable to , we had 7 Full time Family physicians at one time and now we are down to 1.5 Full time doctors.
