Full Job Description
What You Will Be Doing

As a program communications lead, you will be responsible for executing strategic integrated communication plans for the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons line of business. You will lead integrated communications efforts that align with business objectives, and counsel leaders and subject matter experts on effective messaging and communication tactics. You will support marketing campaigns, conduct media relations, develop engaging content for multiple audiences across a variety of channels, and measure the effectiveness of those efforts to ensure continuous improvement.

Reporting to the communications manager, you will work closely with business and government leaders to understand company and customer objectives and craft strategic communication plans which will achieve those goals.

Your role includes but is not limited to:
  • Developing and executing integrated communications plans to support the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons line of business.
  • Collaborating with business and functional partners, government relations, and other communicators to create engaging content to influence stakeholders and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects including employee and executive communications, event support, visual content development, and external communications, at the same time.
  • Develop stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to business and functional leaders.
  • Support cross-business communication campaigns.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with customer public affairs professionals.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
