Full Job Description
Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its strong commercial litigation practice in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have four (4) to six (6) years of commercial litigation experience. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required. Our Litigation Department represents a wide range of local, national and international clients in all types of complex litigation and regularly represents clients in local, state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collegial environment of a national law firm. Active bar license in Oregon, or the ability to waive in, is required. Class action experience, as well as an active bar license in Washington and/or California, are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is from $230,000 to $260,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.

In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
