Position Overview
The Commercial HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of heating, ventilation,
and air conditioning equipment and solutions into high-rise buildings, commercial facilities, and
institutional properties. This role focuses on developing relationships with building owners, property
managers, facility directors, and engineering firms to identify opportunities, specify products, and
close sales.

Business Development
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within high-rise residential, mixed-use,
- institutional, and large facility markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, property management companies, facility
managers, and consulting engineers.Sales Execution
- Present and promote commercial HVAC systems, controls, and service solutions to meet

- Work with engineering and technical teams to create tailored solutions for building projects.
- Prepare detailed proposals, bids, and project submittals in response to RFPs.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Provide ongoing support through project lifecycles, from specification to installation and warranty.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues proactively.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability requirements
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales or related building systems sales.
- Proven track record of selling into high-rise or large facility projects.
- Strong network of relationships with developers, GCs, MEP engineers, and property management
- groups.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, building automation, and energy efficiency standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.Preferred Skills
- Technical background in mechanical engineering or HVAC design.
- Experience working with design/build firms and large capital project sales cycles.
- Familiarity with LEED, Energy Star, and other green building certifications.
