Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant, you will be a pivotal driver of innovation and digital transformation-designing, integrating, and optimizing complex enterprise solutions within the OCI ecosystem. Your expertise will center on architecting secure, reliable, and high-performing environments using Oracle's full suite of OCI offerings, with a mission to maximize business value for global organizations.
You will leverage your OCI core experience -including compute, storage, networking, security, AI/ML, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM)-to support scalable, intelligent, and automated enterprise solutions.
In this role, you'll collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate enterprise objectives into OCI-enabled architectures. You'll work with a team to guide the adoption and integration of groundbreaking capabilities such as OCI AI Services, advanced analytics, and Oracle database optimization-making cloud-native best practices central to your approach.
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
*Designing, configuring, integrating, and deploying OCI environments and services-including networking, compute, storage, identity and access management, security, and observability-to support scalable enterprise workloads
*Leading technical engagements across OCI discovery, landing-zone design, environment build, workload migration, production deployment, and managed operations
*Implementing OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including identity domains, federation and single sign-on, compartment design, policies, dynamic groups, and user lifecycle management
*Developing infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager, while creating deployment standards, operating procedures, and runbook documentation
*Supporting release planning, change management, operational readiness, and client enablement activities while identifying opportunities to improve cloud security, reliability, performance, and cost management
A successful candidate would possess these skills:
* Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to lead technical workstreams in fast-paced environments
* Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
* Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 3 plus years of hands-on experience designing and delivering OCI solutions in a client-facing consulting role, including networking, security and IAM, and migrations.
* 3 plus years of deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
* 3 plus years and proficiency in OCI-native automation (Terraform, Resource Manager), security, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
* Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
* Outstanding communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills-including board-level presentations.
* Demonstrated experience guiding cloud transformation programs for large enterprise clients, ideally within the Fortune 100.
* Relevant cloud certifications (OCI Architect Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, etc.) highly desirable.
