The RoleSectra is looking for a Cloud Engineer that will assist in maintaining, supporting, improving, and deploying the Sectra product suites in the Microsoft Azure cloud as a SaaS offering within our Sectra PACS. The position will report to the regional cloud operations manager.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will deploy and operate Sectra's complete SaaS offering that is tightly integrated with Microsoft Azure native services. This includes:
- Drive and support system reliability, scale and performance activities
- Ensure the solution is kept up-to-date from OS-level up to application level (Sectra's own products and 3rd party)
- Assist with upgrading, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for Windows and Linux servers
- Operate resilience measures such as Backup/Restore routines, load-balancing and other means of scaling across the solution and per individual Virtual Machine
- Develop solutions integrating Microsoft Azure commercial clouds with services hosted on-premises and in other clouds
- Understand networking technologies
- Escalate, own, and stay focused in driving the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members, using highly effective communication skills
- Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud operations, configuration, and administration
- Create scripts to creating, auditing, and monitoring Azure resources
- Develop new solutions that are future-proof towards both existing and future solutions
- Support security audits, accreditation, and certification processes
- Ensure that all cloud solutions follow both internal as well as external security and compliance controls applicable towards our business segments
- Maintain and administer security measures such as vulnerability scanning, security logging and anti-malware and endpoint protection
- Assess and maintain security configuration on application, solution and subscription level
- Audit and apply Azure security best practices to all types of Azure resources
- Maintain and administer identity access management (IAM)

Think you've got what it takes? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:- Computer engineering degree or equivalent with strong academic performance.
- Up to 5 years of technology field experience.
- Up to 5 years of Azure and AWS cloud experience.
- Experience working with PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, IHE and other healthcare interoperability standards
- Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications, while also developing support and deployment strategies.
- Passion for service excellence, with exceptional customer interaction and communication skills.
- Highly organized and deadline-driven, and enjoy a fast-paced work setting
- Ability travel (10% - 15%)
- Also nice to have:
- Experience working with IT service desk or customer service
- Strong experience working with Windows, MS SQL Server, SQL Server AlwaysOn, networks, Active Directory, hardware, clustering, programming or scripting tools, and VMware
- Meticulous about documentation
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages (French would be a definite asset)
Our salary range for this role falls between $79,000 and $113,900. The final salary offer will depend on several key factors, including the candidate's level of experience, their specific skill set, and the overall alignment with the job requirements. Other considerations may include the candidate's education, certifications, and any additional relevant qualifications. We aim to offer a competitive salary that reflects the value each individual brings to our team.
