Job description
Must be able to successfully lead a team to success, while focusing on individual and collective growth, retention, and overall engagement of staff.
The position is on-site. Successful candidate must be able to work a couple of evenings per week and an occasional Saturday.
Requirements
Must have a Maryland license to practice clinical social work
Must have a Maryland State Supervisor license
Must be a consummate professional with excellent communication skills
Must have a positive attitude and open approach to patients, staff and visitors
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Experience and ability to work with electronic medical records is required
Must pass criminal background checks
Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision for school based clinicians
Provide therapeutic services to patients
Support evaluation of program services to enhance patient outcome. Act as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality patient care
Participate in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures
Consult with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework; refers clients to appropriate service agencies as required
Attend staff meetings and team conferences; leads team meetings as required
Participate in, leads, and/or coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills
Maintain current knowledge base on counseling issues regarding psychosocial disorders through conferences, educational requirements for licensure, and applicable current literature
Provide QC protocols for mental health programs
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
