Applicants must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar within six months of beginning the position.

The ELPC is a full-year clinic offered for 10 credits (2 credits of seminar and 3 credits of casework per semester) serving students in their last 2 years of law school. The clinic represents and advises non-profits, citizen groups, and governmental agencies in environmental legal and regulatory matters. Students also provide litigation support, analysis and education on various environmental legislative and regulatory initiatives. A substantial focus of the ELPC's work is on supporting underserved communities and advocating on matters concerning land conservation, sand mining, and water resource protection in Southeastern Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can help shape the Clinic docket and enrich the program by developing relationships within the legal community, the communities served, the University, the legal academy, and the Bar.
