Orthopaedic Clinical Manager - Certified Athletic Trainer PreferredThis position is ideal for a
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) looking to advance into leadership or a
clinic manager with orthopaedic or musculoskeletal experience who values close collaboration with physicians, therapists, and care teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical (Certified Athletic Trainer Preferred)- Deliver direct patient care under physician supervision, including injury assessment, treatment planning, and education.
- Assist with non-operative procedures and post-operative recovery programs.
- Apply/remove casts and splints; assist with injections and other non-surgical treatments (e.g., PRP, shockwave).
- Fit and manage durable medical equipment (DME).
- Collaborate with PTs and care teams to enhance care outcomes.
Clinical Operations Management- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including patient flow, provider support, and clinical scheduling.
- Supervise clinical support staff (MAs, ATCs, rehab aides); build monthly staff schedules.
- Maintain a strong clinic culture that fosters teamwork, accountability, and high-quality care.
- Serve as the liaison between physicians, administrative teams, and external referral sources.
Administrative Oversight- Lead hiring, onboarding, and clinical training programs.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensure, and safety standards.
- Monitor and order medical and DME supplies; manage equipment maintenance.
- Audit clinical documentation to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications:- 3+ years of clinical operations or healthcare management experience required.
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) strongly preferred.
- Orthopaedic or sports medicine experience highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance direct clinical care with high-level management duties.
