Position SummaryAdministers clinical business and operational affairs of large academic practice, with emphasis on analysis and maximization of clinical revenues, implementing effective practices and control procedures. Participates in all aspects of Division operations including Clinical, Research, Administration and Education missions of WashU Medicine.
Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities: - Prepares, monitors, analyzes and manages budgets and promotes cost-effective practices for division in line with the strategic plan of the department.
- Plans the utilization of space and facilities for clinics consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency and available facilities and funds.
- Works aligned with Chair, Executive Director, Chief and Faculty of division in the areas of clinical, administrative, research and education missions to oversee division's success.
- Analyzes billing procedures to ensure proper reimbursement of revenue for services in conjunction with the revenue cycle team.
- Coordinates policies and practices with department and Medical School administration.
- Coordinates workflows and strategic planning initiatives between BJH and WashU Medicine as they relate to the operations of the Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Division.
- Develops staffing plans, which include performance standards, recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions and dismissals.
- Assists with the design of integrated systems and processes to support clinical operations, including registration, scheduling and electronic medical records.
- Prepares clinical data for quarterly projections and reporting, department strategic plan and annual budget processes.
- Coordinates clinical reports to providers, proformas and faculty financial reporting.
- Works to implement contracts for the division aligned with the Executive director working with external parties, Faculty Practice, HIPAA, General Counsel and other offices as necessary to support the Division.

Salary Range$75,200.00 - $128,800.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
