Lead technical review of civil and structural deliverables, including grading, drainage, stormwater, foundations, equipment support structures, retaining systems, access roads, underground utilities, cable trenches, and erosion and sediment control.
Conduct site visits for field investigations, constructability reviews, geotechnical observations, and foundation and civil infrastructure inspections.
Develop and review engineering calculations, specifications, construction drawings, and submittals for compliance with project requirements and design standards.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for civil and structural matters from detailed engineering through closeout and oversee external engineering consultants.
Review vendor foundation and wall designs, equipment loads, seismic criteria, and installation requirements for BESS containers, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and substation equipment.
Support RFPs, EPC bid evaluations, engineering estimates, and value engineering.
Resolve RFIs, NCRs, field design changes, and construction issues with contractors to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
Verify completion of civil and structural work during commissioning and support mechanical completion and turnover.
