Civil Project Manager – Transportation

Our growing team is looking for an experienced engineer to join us and lead transportation projects for agencies across the Front Range.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead multimodal roadway and highway design projects from pursuit through delivery and closeout.
  • Build relationships with teammates and clients through day-to-day interaction and other industry events.
  • Manage project metrics and financials, including schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Direct multi-discipline teams and subconsultants, including engineers, designers, technicians, and CAD staff.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice through pursuits, proposals, and building relationships with Front Range municipalities, consultant teaming partners, developers, and CDOT.
  • Mentor engineers and project managers across Colorado by helping them strengthen their skills, expand their project experience, and pursue meaningful growth opportunities.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Colorado PE license, or the ability to obtain one within four months of hire.
  • Ten or more years designing streets and highways, with a track record of delivering projects you were accountable for.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multi-person project teams.
  • Working command of federal, state, and local design standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients, support public meetings, and produce clear written materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CDOT and Colorado local agency project delivery experience.
  • Established relationships in the Front Range market.
  • Experience winning work through leading or supporting pursuit strategy, proposal development, client development.
  • Active involvement in industry organizations.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and project managers.

Compensation and benefits

$125,000–$175,000+ depending on experience.
