  • Perform traffic engineering tasks as needed to support project delivery
  • Prepare and negotiate contract documents
  • Collaborate with project teams across disciplines and office locations
  • Support and mentor less-experienced traffic engineering staff
  • Contribute to proposals and marketing pursuits for transportation projects
  • Participate in professional organizations at the local, state, or national level
  • Provide input to leadership on business planning, workload, and resource needs

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Minnesota (or capable of getting reciprocity within first six months of employment).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering, with exposure to project management and client-facing work
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to support projects or team needs
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.

  • Multimodal planning involving pedestrians, bicycles, or transit
  • Work zone traffic control and transportation management plans
  • Safety data evaluation and countermeasure development
