The City of Wilsonville is looking for an experienced, collaborative engineer to join our Engineering Division. This recruitment may be filled at either the Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer level, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise. Depending on experience, the selected engineer may serve as a project manager on complex capital improvement projects, coordinate consultants and contractors, review public and private development proposals, prepare technical analyses and recommendations, and present information to stakeholders, advisory bodies, and City leadership. Senior-level candidates may also lead complex multi-agency initiatives, mentor junior staff, and help advance strategic engineering priorities for the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, professional engineer registration, and experience managing engineering projects. Placement as a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Retirement: The City is a member of the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System and currently contributes the employee's portion of the retirement system. The city also contributes an additional 3% of base salary to a 401a account on behalf of management employees. Employees may elect to participate in the City's deferred compensation program.
Healthcare Benefits: The City offers an extensive employee benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and long term disability plans.
Wellness Program: The City offers a generous wellness program, providing for up to $200 a calendar year for wellness related costs incurred.
Vacation: Based on years of service, beginning at 132 hours annually. Vacation leave accruals are pro-rated for part-time employees based on their full-time equivalent status.
Sick Leave: Accrues 96 hours annually. Sick leave accruals are pro-rated for part-time employees based on their full-time equivalent status.
Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year.
