• Perform engineering analyses and prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Utilize OpenRoads Designer and other engineering software to develop design models, plans, and project deliverables.
• Support project delivery efforts by assisting with scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality management activities.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to early-career engineers and engineering staff to support their professional growth and development.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, subconsultants, and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful project execution.
• Participate in design reviews and quality control processes to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to proposal development, technical approach preparation, and other business development activities as needed.

• 6 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with state DOT, county, municipal, or toll agency transportation projects.
• Knowledge of roadway geometric design criteria, traffic considerations, and transportation design standards.
• Transportation related engineering design tools/applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design tasks and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
