Civil 3D Designer (Aviation), you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of complex airport and airside infrastructure projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will transform concepts into detailed design solutions that enhance connectivity, operational efficiency, and passenger experience while supporting safe and sustainable aviation growth.
Your Impact- Develop detailed Civil 3D models, drawings, and design packages for airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Produce airside and landside design solutions including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project teams to deliver coordinated and technically sound design solutions.
- Support the advancement of airport modernization and expansion projects that strengthen regional and national transportation networks.
- Apply quality management procedures to ensure accurate, compliant, and constructible design deliverables.
- Integrate innovative modeling and digital delivery practices to improve project efficiency and visualization.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and design coordination activities.
- Foster strong client relationships through responsive technical support and high-quality project execution.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience using Autodesk Civil 3D for transportation, land development, or aviation infrastructure projects.
- Experience developing design drawings and models for airport, airfield, or aviation-related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and site development design principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering concepts and translate them into detailed design documentation.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
- Knowledge of Canadian aviation design standards, airport operational requirements, and relevant regulatory guidelines is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality and safety.
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
