General Summary:Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters, as needed. Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with digital SOC and/or mixed-signal baseband and/or RF chips in a chip or chipset program management role.
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., VP level and above).
- 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
- Note: Only candidates with direct experience in semiconductor development and/or manufacturing experience will be considered.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- Build strong technical and program understanding to drive large cross-functional global teams across program life cycles from product concept to commercialization.
- Establish program baseline by partnering with Product management and Engineering for product requirements, external deliverables, schedule, resources, cost, project priorities etc.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, channel requirements to respective development teams, and drive consensus on development schedules, plans and processes. Interface with various internal departments, (Design, Test, Software, IP tech, Power, Performance, Process tech, Packaging, Platform hardware, Operations, Sales etc.).
- Establish execution discipline and communication processes, including risk management, escalation, mitigation, tracking schedule trends vs. baseline, lessons learnt and executive reporting. Develop program indicators to manage program health, including quality and timelines.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews and coordinate or assure compliance with design or department checklists and procedures. Drive pre and post Silicon debug, test, reliability, production ramp and customer sampling.
- Support the adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities within respective programs.
- Use verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to multiple audiences requiring strong negotiation and alignment skills.
- Work independently with little supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $159,400.00 - $239,000.00
