Quality Management

  • Perform internal quality management reviews for group life and disability, including rate development, policies and procedures, proposal and presale analysis memos, and provide thoughtful insight as to an individual’s areas of excellence and opportunity.

  • Perform presale quality management reviews for reinsurance clients that perform their own underwriting as well as other special studies, audits and training reviews to gain insight into GRP or client underwriting practices.

  • Develop and work with others to execute on action plans designed to improve the quality of GRP and client underwriting based on quality management results, such as enhanced best practices, training, revised underwriting authority limits, etc.

Strategic Reserve

  • Act as strategic reserve and underwrite new business quotes, renewals and sold case submissions as requested during periods of high demand or limited capacity on other teams.

Other

  • Lead and/or actively participate in various functional or cross-functional initiatives within GRP or with other areas within Group Benefits.
