Job Description

The YMCA of the Palm Beaches is expanding its philanthropy team and seeking a dynamic and accomplished fundraising leader to serve as our Chief Philanthropy Officer.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will lead the YMCA's philanthropic strategy in alignment with the organization's strategic initiatives and priorities. High-level competencies should include the following:
• Proven strength in developing, leading, and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies
• Success raising seven figure gifts (eight figure gifts a plus)
• Experience leading capital and/or comprehensive campaigns
• Planned giving expertise
• Expert relationship-building skills
• Track record of taking principal and major donors from identification through solicitation
• Experience tracking and using data analysis to build a fundraising strategy
• Creative, personal, and effective stewardship strategies for principal and major donors
• Successful team management and leadership experience
