DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis role leads and coordinates all pharmacy operations that support patient care across the hospital. You will manage systems, staff, and compliance activities that ensure safe and efficient pharmaceutical services. As a Chief Pharmacist, you will perform the following duties:
- Pharmacy Oversight: Plan and supervise pharmacy services in alignment with hospital policies
- System Management: Maintain and update pharmacy computer systems and electronic records
- Fiscal Audits: Handle financial reviews, cost accounting, and pharmaceutical procurement
- Performance Review: Develop and maintain criteria-based programs that monitor service quality
- Training Leadership: Coordinate educational programs for pharmacy and hospital personnel
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure proper oversight of controlled substances under all regulations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Overtime as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirement:- Two years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy.
Special Requirement:- This position requires possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.

Legal Requirements:- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
