Full Job Description
We9re hiring a highly analytical and detail-oriented Chief of Staff to report to the Head of the Office of the CEO and partner closely with our CEO in driving the company9s most critical initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our leadership team is laser-focused on high-impact priorities and that the organization runs smoothly and efficiently. The Chief of Staff will have a bird9s-eye view of the entire company, serving as a key advisor, operational executor, and problem-solver.
**What You9ll Achieve:** A Glimpse into Your Contributions
Within your first year, you will have the opportunity to:
- Summarize & prepare materials for various leadership meetings, reviewing closely with the founder.
- Identify areas where the CEO should be spending time based on analytics & meeting summaries.
- Track progress on major company projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and blockers are addressed.
- Maintain a system for escalating brewing issues to leadership promptly.
- Conduct fact-finding investigations in specific areas and prepare comprehensive reports & recommendations.
- Dive into analytics and reporting to uncover insights and make recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the CEO, ensuring time and energy are focused on the most critical priorities.
- Eventually, represent the CEO in meetings as necessary and ensure their directives are executed effectively.
- Drive operational improvements across the company, ensuring processes are effective and scalable.
- Manage follow-up on deadlines and commitments with internal teams to ensure accountability.
- Serve as the Office of the CEO team9s "audit" function, providing an objective view of organizational health and execution.
- Run operational aspects of the CEO9s role, taking on tasks and projects end-to-end as needed.

**Core Skills & Experience:**
- **Strong Work Ethic:** To be effective in this role, it9s critical to be immersed in all aspects of the business, working very closely with the CEO, the Head of the Office of the CEO and the executive team. As a result, this role will regularly require 55-60 hours a week, with weekend (primarily Sunday) work as necessary.
- **Analytical Excellence:** Highly skilled in data analysis and able to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- **Detail-Oriented:** Exceptional organizational skills with a process-driven mindset. Your work will be trusted without double-checking, so consistently defect-free work is critical.
- **Problem-Solving:** Ability to identify issues and propose solutions independently.
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you can represent the CEO effectively in various forums.
- Bachelor9s degree in an analytical or business-related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in technology, consulting, operations, strategy, or similar roles.

**Work Environment & Location:**
This role is based in our New York City office in Chelsea. We have a requirement of 5 days per week in the office to foster collaboration and innovation.
