In this role, the Chief of Staff Support professional will directly assist the Program Acquisition Executive, Deputy Director, Executive Director, and Chief of Staff in executing PAE-AC’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. Responsibilities include coordinating high-visibility initiatives, maintaining an effective organizational battle rhythm, facilitating senior leader engagements, and serving as a key liaison with executive-level stakeholders across internal and external organizations.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced strategic integrator who can translate leadership priorities into actionable plans, coordinate organizational inputs, synthesize complex information, track execution, and provide decision-quality support to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief of Staff Support will:
- Track, manage, coordinate, and respond to high-priority taskings from Secretary of the Air Force (SECAF), PAE-AC, and senior Department of Defense leadership, including Congressional and senior-level staff inquiries
- Develop, review, coordinate, and staff executive-level briefings, information papers, decision packages, Staff Summary Sheets (SSSs), and other senior leader products
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect, analyze, and synthesize information into accurate, timely, and decision-quality responses
- Prepare read-ahead materials, talking points, background information, and other supporting documentation for senior leader engagements, briefings, and executive level meetings
- Coordinate with the PAE-AC Strategic Cell, Director’s Action Group (DAG), and other organizational elements to ensure leadership taskings are clearly understood, appropriately staffed, and completed within established suspense dates
- Support the coordination and presentation of data, analysis, and recommendations to senior Department of Defense and Department of the Air Force decision makers
- Monitor high-visibility actions and organizational priorities, identify potential risks or delays, and facilitate resolution to ensure timely execution
- Maintain awareness of leadership priorities, organizational activities, and emerging requirements to support effective coordination and decision-making
- Facilitate communication and coordination across PAE-AC, higher headquarters, Government organizations, and external mission partners
- Support organizational battle rhythm, leadership engagements, and cross-functional activities to ensure alignment with PAE-AC mission objectives and strategic priorities
Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Chief of Staff Support must have:
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- 7+ years of relevant experience supporting Department of Defense staff organizations, program offices, headquarters organizations, or similar mission environments
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent, high-visibility taskings and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and coordinating executive-level briefings, information papers, decision packages, Staff Summary Sheets, read-ahead materials, and related leadership products
- Strong understanding of Department of Defense and U.S. Space Force governance, staffing, task management, and coordination processes
- Experience coordinating with senior Government leaders, headquarters staff, program offices, and cross-functional organizations
- Prior U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, or other DoD military or civilian experience, or experience providing contractor support to DoD/DAF/USSF higher headquarters organizations
- Experience supporting SAF, Headquarters U.S. Space Force (HQ USSF), or an equivalent headquarters-level organization
- Familiarity with space intelligence systems, capabilities, and collection activities
- Familiarity with Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, U.S. Space Force acquisition, and/or Rapid Capabilities Office environments

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
The final salary offered within the posted range will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
