The JobThe Chief of Staff manages the office of the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to support the CCO in running the division strategy and operations. Serves as a strategic advisor and counsel to the Chief Clinical Officer. Accountable to keep leaders aligned on core tasks and consistent messaging across departments.
You WillLead strategic initiatives that is aligned to Chief Clinical Officer's mission that will require cross department partnership. Point of contact on behalf of CCO to align senior leaders.
Guide leaders across multiple departments to engage in a broad range of activities focused on making time, information, and decision processes more effective for the Chief Clinical Officer.
Take action to solve problems, mediate disputes, and address business issues before they are brought to the Chief Clinical Officer.
Support the divisional CCO in building and maintaining relationships with employees, members, business partners and the community. Provide a communication framework to link the CCO with company stakeholders.
Represent the Chief Clinical Officer at meetings and events. Prepare and deliver communications on behalf of the CCO.
Consult Chief Clinical Officer and senior leadership to determine and prioritize business strategies. Facilitate strategic planning and company policy development processes.
Oversee the research and analysis of business issues to formulate insights and present recommendations to support executive decision making.
Build upon industry best practice in Healthcare to share the latest products, services, and partnerships to inform strategic initiatives.
Manage cross-functional and division-wide projects or initiatives. Bring together appropriate stakeholders, identify and allocate needed resources, and drive projects to expected results.
Apply superior business acumen to advise the Chief Clinical Officer in matters significant to the organization. Provide the CCO with an unbiased and wide-ranging view on business issues and opportunities. Coordinate and perform special projects as needed. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employee; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
Develop timely reports to keep the President Office informed of major milestones and challenges.

Your Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of related experience in operations and strategic
- Expert knowledge of business operations at the strategic level.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in expediting large and/or long term projects.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions for issues where the answers are not clear.
- Highly developed oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner; strong platform and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of systems in a managed care setting.
- Ability to effectively meet with and prepare materials for presentation information to Board, clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Able to effectively navigate complex stakeholder dynamics, manage competing perspectives, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Must have experience leading strategic initiatives, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring organizational priorities are executed effectively.
- Experience in healthcare, including hospitals, health plans, or healthcare technology organizations, is highly preferred.
- A background in management consulting is a significant plus.

• Work Mode: Mostly Onsite (This is a hybrid position. Employees who live locally are expected to follow SCAN in-office schedule (currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays). SCAN's headquarters is currently located in Long Beach, California, and is expected to relocate to Cerritos, California, in 2027.)
