Primary Responsibilities:- Develop and implement standard operating process and procedures for estimating and
pre-construction.
- Identify, hire, and retain adequate estimation staff to support overall estimation efforts.
- Lead, and organize overall company pre-construction processes and efforts.
- Ensure estimating software system is cost accurate and continually updated.
- Ensure estimating staff is knowledgeable and trained in use of the estimating software
and estimating processes and procedures.
- Estimate and lead the major RFP, bid proposal, as required.
- Oversee and ensure that estimates are kept and stored as corporate knowledge.
- Receive and translate for use, the feedback from operations and construction team to
improve estimation and pre-construction efforts.
- Assist with contract review, and lead the pre-construction turnover effort.
Supervisory Responsibilities: - Supervisory responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in Electrical/background.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: - Relevant certificates or licenses are preferred.
