Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in anesthesiology, with leadership experience preferred.
• Completion of a US-based residency program in anesthesiology.
• Board certification in anesthesiology is required.
• No fellowship is required, making this accessible for a broader range of candidates.
• Possession of an active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental operations, staffing, and scheduling while prioritizing fairness and flexibility.
• Collaborate with hospital and nursing leadership to maintain high patient safety and quality standards.
• Facilitate continuing education, mentorship, and professional growth for anesthesia providers.
• Work on developing policies and best practices for anesthesia care and perioperative safety.
• Focus on managing complex cases within a supportive collaborative care team.
• Team up with a main OR anesthesiologist and experienced CRNAs to provide quality care.
