Bring Better to the Bedside as a Chief Anesthesiologist in Panama City, FL at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay

Local Team Collaboration:
  • We believe in local, site-led leadership.
  • As Chief, you will work closely with recruitment, operations, clinical leadership, and site administrators to build a strong team for the patients of Panama City.
  • Sacred Heart Bay is a level II trauma center with approximately 250 heart cases each year.
  • Cardiac Anesthesia includes CABG, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clips, both open and minimally invasive plus Cath lab, EP, interventional, and structural.
  • Non-cardiac cases include general, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, ENT, Gyn, Uro, plastics, Endo, lap choles, appendectomies, hernia, colon/GI, joint replacements, etc. No OB.

Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience preferred, or must have leadership qualities.
  • Completion of a US Residency.
  • Board certification in Anesthesia.
  • Fellowship not required.
  • Active FL license or able to obtain.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • Rotate with 4 other CV-capable physicians + 1 Main OR non-call physician.
  • A day, non-call taking physician will cover Monday through Friday to have more hands on during the day.
  • Early release PRE-call day and guaranteed post call off day!
  • Enjoy 13 weeks of time off - travel or enjoy the local beaches or Gulf fishing.

Rewards and Compensation:
  • Robust compensation package with guaranteed base salary of $575,000-$615,000 and opportunity to maximize income.
